Bikini line sugaring in Helsinki

The bikini line is tidied, meaning the hair that would otherwise show outside the edges of swimwear or underwear. The paste is applied warm and the hair is removed from the root.

The difference is how wide an area is treated. Bikini line sugaring tidies the line; Brazilian sugaring covers the whole bikini area, leaving a small area of hair at the front if you prefer.

Both are separate services in booking.

Preparing is simple. The hair needs to be long enough for the paste to grip it.

• Let the hair grow long enough for the paste to grip it, so avoid shaving the area right before your appointment.
• Come with clean skin on the area being treated.
• Skip heavily fragranced or oily products on the area just before the appointment.
• Avoid strong exfoliation on the day of the appointment.
• If the skin is broken, inflamed or clearly irritated, it is better to wait until it has settled.

Afterwards the skin can look a little red or feel more sensitive than usual for a while. This normally settles on its own.

For the first days, avoid strong rubbing, exfoliation and fragranced products on the treated area.
